Powder Coating is performed by a third party. Because of this, we don’t offer a warranty or shipping guarantee on powder coat. We offer our discounted powder coating rate to our customers, but we do prefer to ship these bumpers in bare steel. We do our best to protect the coating when we palletize your order, but shipping companies usually find a way to avoid blame for scratches. Therefore, we can’t offer a warranty or replacement for damaged powder coating.

We take factory compatibility seriously whenever we can. That’s why we build and engineer all of our bumpers to integrate with the factory Parking or Proximity Sensors and Adaptive Cruise. It’s important to retain the factory functionality of these features not only because we’ve grown to their convenience, but also for safety and resale purposes. This is true for our Ford 4th Gen Raptor Rear Bumper and Front Bumper which are for sale now.
Again, the brand new Fourth-Gen Raptor comes from the factory with high-end Rigid Industries SAE-Compliant Factory Fog Lights. We saw the opportunity to re-utilize these fog lights and integrate the clean factory light bezel and mount them into the front of our PMP Bumpers. This will work with any of our Base Bumper Models, our Pre-Runner Models, or our full Predator Guard Models. This ensures that you maintain the visibility you need when the sun dips behind the ridgeline as the folks over at Ford Performance intended.
One question we get all the time is, “Does the full Predator Grille Guard block the camera”? The answer is yes, and no. Even so, with our Predator Guard, you are still able to see what’s ahead of you, and the 360-degree camera still works great!
In addition, our Raptor Bumper integrates with the factory aluminum skid plate. A very small amount of trimming is required on the factory skid plate, but this is well worth it in order for us to keep the high clearance nature of our bumper design. You’ll see from the photos here that it’s minimal and allows us to tie our D-Ring attachment points directly into the factory frame mounts.
Aftermarket Compatibility
Our Bumpers and Grille Guards for the 4th Gen Raptor are also a great mounting point for off-road lighting. We typically recommend Rigid Industries D-Series LED Light Pods or something similar for the 3×3 light hole that we build standard into our bumpers. Now, with the Raptor we actually are able to integrate the factory Ford Performance Rigid Industries Fog Lights and Bumper Bezel if desired. More on that later. In addition, we are able to mount a 20” or 30” lightbar in the center section of the bumper. This only applies if you are not adding a winch to your bumper build. The 20” lightbar cutout will work with the factory parking sensors and adaptive cruise control sensor, but if your Raptor is equipped with the adaptive cruise sensor, it will not work, so you will instead be limited to the 20” Lightbar cutout. If you would like to run a lightbar on top of the bumper underneath the grille guard tubes, you would have room to do that. That opens up more lightbar options as well. Just call us if you have any questions, and we can advise our best suggestion. The Raptor comes standard with factory Ford upfitter switches installed in the cab. We recommend hooking all offroad lighting to these fused and rated upfitter switches as well for seamless offroad lighting integration. Just check the factory ratings for these fused switches and verify the lighting products you or the shop are installing are within the correct amperage range. Choose your PMP Bumper model, as well as your accessory options, powder coat, and any other options. You can also add additional order notes or request additional information if you so desire.. All of our bumpers are custom built to each order so that you can tailor your customized bumpers to your taste and needs. Because of this, there are lead times associated with each order. If you would like to know the current lead times, feel free to call or email us.
If you plan on coming to our shop to save on shipping costs, we invite you to select ‘local pickup” at checkout. We can also install your bumper and lighting if so desired. Just choose that option at checkout, and then once the bumper is built, we will call you to schedule the installation.
We will only ship bumpers in Black Powder Coat, and we are unable to warranty Powder Coat. We do not powder coat in house, and have worked to offer powder coating at the lowest cost possible to you, the customer. We don’t make money on this charge, and therefore cannot guarantee the finish. However, we do guarantee that each bumper is inspected when we pick them up from powder coat and they do pass our inspections, or we have them re-coated.
Although we do our best in palletizing and protecting our bumpers during transit, we cannot guarantee that care will be taken once they leave our shop so as not to damage or scratch the powder coat. For this reason, we prefer to ship in bare steel, but if you’d like we can ship in black powder coat. Shipping throughout the country costs between $400 – $600.
